Introduction

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a stable, professional Accounting firm? Be part of the team that partners with clients in managing their financial affairs and growing their business. Min 5 years experience in an accounting / bookkeeping role preparing monthly management accounts and tax returns for clients as well as the company itself. Enjoy working in a team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsbilities inlcude:

- Ensure the accurate preparation of monthly accounts for clients
- Assist with the setting of budgets for clients;
- Administer the control/audit requirements associated with these processes.
- Preparation of taxation returns and assistance with provisional tax estimates.
- Vat
- Income tax






- Payroll – VIP, SAGE and or Payspace
- Drafting annual financial statements (caseware / draftworx)

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience in Xero, Pastel Accounting, Payspace and/or VIP Payroll.

Experience in Caseware would be an advantage.

Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.

Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).

BComm (or equivalent) and SAICA/SAIPA articles would be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Technically competent, i.e. Solid bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of accounting packages – Xero, Pastel Accounting
- Knowledge of payroll packages – Payspace, VIP Payroll.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a large work load.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different situations easily.
- Ability to think out the box.
- Ability to take ownership of work responsibility.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

Package & Remuneration

R18 000 to R30 000 depending on experience.
