Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
You will be responsible for the following:
- Design plastic components and products, ensuring they meet specific performance criteria such as strength, flexibility, and durability such as mould design and screw and barrel design.
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, extrusion, and blow moulding.
- Ensuring that the plastic products meet industry standards and specifications.
- They diagnose and resolve issues in the production process, working to prevent defects and improve overall product quality.
- Research and Development.
- Maintain detailed records of design specifications, testing results, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- Degree in Plastics or related
Skills
- Expertise in mould design.
- Expertise in screw and barrel design.
- Expertise’s in different extrusion methods.
- Someone who enjoys and is excited about R&D.;
- Capable of managing processes and people.
