ensure that the company’s products meet or exceed the quality and food safety
standards required. Rate per hour ( R27.58 to R30.00) Assessing and monitoring the soft fruit to meet the
expectations of the multiple with a final grade.● Inspecting soft fruit on intake● Online & Off-line QC checks and associated food
safety and quality checks● Shelf-life control and arrange samples to be
despatched for taster panel assessments.● Checks on thermometers, refractometers and other
associated packhouse equipment used.In order to be considered for the temporary position,
successful candidate must meet the following criteria and provide requested
documentation.· Older
than 18 years of age.· Matric
certificate· Computer
literate· Physically
fit: Engaging in physically demanding tasks such as bending, stooping,
lifting, and carrying heavy loads of blueberries.· Valid
proof of own bank account - you may not use anyone else’s account, but your
own, ( to be presented on day 1).· Working
indoors in packhouse in temperatures below 4 degrees. – freezer jackets
provided.· Must
be willing to work overtime, shifts day and night/ weekends and public holidays
when needed.· In
possession of a valid South African ID book or card ( to be
presented on day 1).
