- Application Support:
- Provide technical support for various applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement patches, updates, and upgrades as needed.
- Requirement Analysis:
- Analyze business needs and requirements to ensure applications meet organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Installation and Configuration:
- Install, configure, and maintain software packages and tools (e.g., MSI).
- Ensure proper integration of applications with existing systems.
- Performance Optimization:
- Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Implement strategies to optimize performance and user experience.
- Documentation:
- Document application deployments, configurations, and processes.
- Create and maintain user manuals and training materials.
- Application Modernization:
- Contribute to the modernization of applications to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Participate in application lifecycle management (ALM) processes.
- Infrastructure and Network Support:
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical problems.
- Change Management:
- Plan and execute maintenance tasks, including change management processes.
- Resolve incident tickets and ensure timely resolution.
- Agile Working Model (AWM):
- Contribute to the AWM charter and participate in Agile methodologies.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong experience with software package installation, configuration, and conversion tools (e.g., MSI).
- Proven ability to analyze application business needs and requirements.
- Experience in analyzing application performance and working with software installation capture tools.
- Knowledge of application optimization techniques for server, desktop deployments, user experience, and published applications.
- Experience in documenting published application deployments.
- Familiarity with application modernization and ALM practices.
- Proficiency in legacy (e.g., VBS) and modern (e.g., MSIX, PSADT) installation methods.
- Strong understanding of general client and server operating systems (Windows, Red Hat, Linux, etc.).
- Experience with Windows Server and multisession desktop environments.
- Expertise in Windows Client (Windows 10 & 11) OS troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and integration issues.
- Experience with VMware Workspace One Access.
- Familiarity with ITL processes (incident, change, and problem management).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Citrix Netscaler (higher than 12.x) and Storefront.
- Experience with Citrix on VMware Hypervisor Stack (higher than VMware ESXI 6).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services).
- Experience with VDI technologies (Microsoft and VMware Horizon).
- Familiarity with Citrix XenServer (higher than 7.x).
- Experience with hyperconverged systems.
- Proficiency in additional scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of automated problem remediation techniques.
- Understanding of VMware Published Applications stack.
- Familiarity with REST API technology.
