DescriptionThe purpose of the Senior People Officer is to support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, optimizing processes, compliance, effectiveness, performance enablement, succession, and career planning. The incumbent will manage the administration of day-to-day operations of the human resource functions and duties.

Key ResponsibilitiesContributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives.Assists with various activities within the HR Department.Assists individuals with basic HR issues.Quarterly engagement with employees across the business.Performance enablement.Stakeholder engagement and service delivery.Support employee development planning, ensuring a leadership pipeline for the organization.Implement retention plans.Support the Talent Management functions to build and maintain capacity for various projects and programmes within the talent lifecycle.Assist with the implementation of strategic processes to attract diverse talent to meet business needs.Responsible for systems applications (i.e., Signify). Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseQualifications and Experience Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.3 to 5 years working experience in an HR Officer/Generalist role.Experience in the IT Industry would be beneficial.Knowledge HR legislation (EEA and BCEA).HR Systems.Excellent Microsoft Office skills.Working in a global organization.Knowledge of database management and record keeping.Skills required Organized.Detail-oriented and efficient.Ability to manage tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work efficiently in a broad cultural spectrum.Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Stakeholder engagement.Talent and Performance management.
