Baseline Racquets is South Africa's leading racquet sports specialist, with stores in Edenvale, Pretoria and Randburg. We are passionate about providing our customers with expert service and high-quality products. We are currently seeking experienced and motivated individual to fill a Store Manager position within our Randburg branch. If you have a strong background in retail management, a passion for sports, and a proven track record of successfully managing a sales team, we want to hear from you!

Racquet Sports Expertise:

- Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers on racquet sport equipment, apparel and accessories.
- Stay infomed about the latest trends and products.






- Oversee/manage in store events or promotions to promote the brand and engage with customers.

Leadership and Team Management:

- Manage, train and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment, ensuring staff are engaged and productive.

Sales and Customer Service:

- Drive sales through effective merchandising, promotions and product knowledge.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring expceptional service.
- Develop and implement strategies with the sales team for increased revenue.

Operations Management:

- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manange inventory levels (ordering, receiving and merchandising products).
- Ensure that the store is clean, organised and reflects the brand's standards.

Marketing

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop initiatives and promotional events.

- 3-5 years proven experience in retail management, preferably in a sporting goods or speciality store.






- Strong knowledge of racquet sports equipment (tennis, badminton, squash, padel) and related products.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Valid driver's license and own transport essential.

Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
