We have an urgent Executive Chef position available. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of the HMR, Butchery and Bakery Department.
1. Ensure smooth overall running of the HMR, Butchery and Bakery department.
2. Management of all the administrative and financial aspects of the HMR, Butchery and Bakery department.
3. Assistance in stock ordering.
4. Ensure sufficient stock levels at all times.
5. GP monitoring.
6. Waste Management.
7. Ensuring that the daily prodction targets have been met in all three departments.
8. Ensuring that all the store's orders are placed and prepared for the following day.
9. Quality control on all meals that have been prepared.
10. Staff management (including leave,
timetable and overall management)
Grade 12.
At least 10 year's experience as a Chef.
At least 10 year's experience in a Managerial position.
At least 10 year's experience within the FMCG industry.
Sound knowledge on all types of meat, confectionery, frozen and cooked meals etc.
Availability to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays).
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work independently.
Candidates must be available for an in-person interview in Centurion.
