An agri company in Cape Town is seeking the services of an Electronic Engineer.
This pioneering force in agricultural technology is dedicated to enhancing productivity and sustainability through innovative automation solutions. We are seeking a talented Electronic Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge systems for the agricultural sector.
As an Electronic Engineer, focused on agricultural automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic systems that improve agricultural processes. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable and efficient automation solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic circuits and systems for agricultural automation applications.
- Collaborate with software and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of electronic systems in real-world agricultural environments.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and user manuals.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in agricultural technology to drive innovation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and field teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in circuit design and analysis tools (e.g., Altium Designer, LTspice, or similar).
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, RS-232).
- Experience with embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
