Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client in the medical schemes industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal and Corporate Governance Manager to join their team in Gauteng.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12
- LLB
- Admission as an attorney
- Membership with the Legal Practice Council (formerly the Law Society)
- Minimum of 8 years of managerial experience in a legal environment
- Medical Scheme industry experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal support and advisory services.
- Oversee compliance programs and manage all legal and compliance concerns.
- Assist the executive team with risk management and governance matters.
- Handle litigation on behalf of the organization.
- Assist with policy development in line with legislation.
