Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management / Food Science / related (Masters Degree preferred)
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development or management roles within the food supply chain industry, with a demonstrated ability to drive sales growth.
- Experience in logistics, distribution, and compliance with food safety standards is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and regulatory frameworks in South Africa.
- Willingness to travel within region is required
- Candidates with proficiency in French, Arabic, and English are preferred

Job Responsibilities:







- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in the food supply chain sector.
- Develop and implement targeted business development strategies for the South African market.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, distributors, government entities, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Manage budgets, ensuring resource allocation supports business goals and profitability.
- Implement best operational practices to maintain high service delivery standards.
- Develop and execute marketing plans to increase awareness of food supply chain services.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Collaborate with corporate marketing to tailor promotional campaigns for the region.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing local team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Provide ongoing support and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Set performance goals, conduct reviews,





and ensure accountability.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to guide business strategy.
- Prepare detailed reports on performance, market insights, and growth initiatives for senior management.
- Use analytics to assess and adjust business development strategies as needed.
