Position Overview: Are you an ambitious, talented young chef looking to build your career in a vibrant, high-energy kitchen? Join us as a Junior Chef de Partie, where you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced chefs and learning every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to the restaurant's standards.
- Take responsibility for a section of the kitchen and ensure timely, high-quality production.
- Help in the creation of new dishes and seasonal menus alongside senior chefs.
- Ensure all food safety regulations and hygiene standards are met.
- Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering and rotation of ingredients.
- Support senior chefs in maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a similar role.
- Formal culinary training is a plus but not required.
- Passion for cooking and a desire to grow in a professional kitchen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-player mentality.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
