We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Executive. The Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for selling products, meeting targets and making sure that customers are satisfied. You must have experience in sales expertise in the flooring industry (selling of flooring products such as tiles, sheeting and adhesives), experience in the FMCG (this would be an added advantage). You must be adaptable to cross selling and upselling other products as may be introduced overtime.
Key responsibilities
Sales and Marketing
- Educate existing and new customers about our products.
- Make follow ups on the performance of our products.
- Maintain customer records.
- Introduce new products.
- Cold calls.
- Continuous learning.
Revenue
- Assist in debt collection.
- Achieve sales target.
Leading, Training and Mentoring
- Assist and develop within the sales team.
- Build relationships.
- Resolve customer complaints.
Cost Containment
- Product knowledge around our product to ensure the right product fit.
Customer Satisfaction and Experience
- Enhance the customer experience - ensure that customers are satisfied with our service from the point where we on board them, buying point and the after sales care.
Industry Participation & Public Relation
- Participate in expos on behalf of the organisation.
- Monitor marketing trends.
- Analyse competitive pricing strategy.
Compliance
- Make sure all sales are closed in accordance to company procedures.
- Risk identification and management.
- Be ethical and follow company policies and procedures.
Sales and Marketing
- Meet monthly targets.
- Attend relevant sales meetings at the office.
Revenue
- Assist in debt collection.
- Report on new revenue streams every year.
Customer Satisfaction Experience
- Be patient with customers.
- Attend to enquiries within 24 hours.
- To advice customers on our dispatch/delivery term (within 10 working days).
- Ensure you carry out after sale follow ups.
- Attend to all customer complaints within 1-3 days.
Compliance
- Preparing weekly/monthly and quarterly sales report.
Industrial Participation & Public Relation
- Attend local expos.
- Attend business-to-business meeting (Cold calling).
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing
- Minimum work Experience of 5 years in similar position
