This is not a remote working position and standard working hours from the office in Woodstock, Cape Town will apply.
We are seeking a semi-skilled and service driven Customer Service & Returns Clerk to join the team. The role will play a crucial part in inspecting and reconciling quantities returned with that of the returns forms and documents. Ensuring customer satisfaction through handling product returns and exchanges. Maintaining and managing a database of all product returns and exchanges.
Adhering to and complying with corporate standards and procedures in handling returns.

The Position: We're looking for a skilled Customer Service & Returns Clerk to be office based in Woodstock, Cape Town. The pay range on offer is R8 000.00 to R10 000.00 (Negotiable) Package Per Month.

Requirements:
- Completed Matric
- 2+ years experience within a Manufacturing environment
- Strong customer interaction skills
- Must have a good understanding of written and verbal communication
- Must be able to work independently and be responsible enough to work without supervision
- Must be a Self-Starter with a highly organized mind
- Ability to work in a self-driven,
complex environment with multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and inspecting returns: Meeting drivers and inspecting returned items and paperwork
- Processing returns: Processing and coding returns, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Verifying quantities: Reconciling the quantities returned with the returns forms and documents
- Updating records: Updating inventory records and customer accounts
- Processing refunds: Processing refunds, exchanges, credits, or repairs
- Training new employees: Training new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards
- Inventory control: Performing inventory control using computerized tools, physical counts, and cycle counts
- Recordkeeping:
Completing daily logs for recordkeeping
Work references, criminal checks and qualification checks will be done on the successful candidate.
