Position title:Traditional Marketing SpecialistDepartment:MarketingWork Location:180 Garsfontein Road, Ashlea Gardens, Pretoria.Supervisor/Manager:Traditional Marketing LeadJob purpose:Work towards the common goal of the Marketing Department to assist and support the revenue goals of the company through the development and execution of traditional marketing strategies (across various channels) to promote and generate interest in the hearX Group, and more specifically the B2C division.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum education (essential):Relevant BCom DegreeMinimum education (desirable):Relevant Postgraduate DegreeMinimum applicable experience (years):3 yearsRequired nature of experience:- Compilation and execution of marketing strategies- Marketing of consumer products (direct to consumer and not business-focussed)- Evaluating, reporting and optimising of traditional marketing efforts- Management of different suppliers.- Experience with most traditional marketing channels such as television, radio, newspapers or magazines, and direct mail.- Strategy development within traditional marketing, analysing of results and optimising spend for most favourable outcomes.- Exposure to marketing in the USA and other developed markets would be advantageous- Experience in medical products will be advantageous- Experience in the booking of TV and OTT will be advantageousSkills and Knowledge (essential):- Computer Literate (Ms-Excel and Ms-Powerpoint)- Marketing budgets management- Marketing strategy compilation and execution- Radio adverts- Newspapers and magazine campaigns.- Management of direct mail campaigns- Webinar strategies and optimisation- Events and conference managementCOMPETENCIES:**Essential Competencies:- Generating Ideas- Adopting Practical Approaches- Making Decisions- Meeting Timescales- Checking Things- Managing Tasks- Producing Output- Taking ActionImportant Competencies:- Documenting Facts- Interpreting Data- Providing Insights- Interacting with People- Articulating Information- Directing People- Showing Composure- Thinking Positively- Embracing Change- Inviting Feedback- Team Working- Pursuing GoalsKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS, WEIGHTS AND OBJECTIVES:Marketing Strategy (20%):- Compile, execute and continuously optimise traditional marketing strategies across a range of traditional channels.- Liaise with management to discuss and agree on traditional marketing strategies.- Contribute towards the success of the B2C product suite by providing insights,
generating ideas and optimising across marketing channels and spheres, both inside and outside of traditional marketing.Reporting and Budgeting (25%):- Interpret and present feedback and figures on all traditional marketing efforts.- Compile realistic and strategic budgets.- Adhere to budgets as part of strategic execution, including events, product launches and digital marketing campaigns.Traditional Marketing Management (50%):- Take responsibility for all B2C traditional marketing efforts including, but not limited to television ads, radio, newspapers and magazines, direct mail,
webinars and events.- Set up campaigns for each traditional marketing effort which clearly outlines the desired KPIs.- Plan and execute small and large scale events.- Manage logistics and events.- Manage external suppliers and resources including; printers, photographers, videographers etc.- Contribute to creativity and innovation within the team.- Ensure marketing material reflects CI.- Manage process to produce required marketing collateral for different channels.- Arrange final approval for marketing collateral.- Manage traditional marketing processes, such as the procurement of international traditional marketing partners, identify target markets and locations, suitable marketing options, and manage the process of execution,
evaluate and report on performance.QMS (5%):- Ensure that QMS guidelines are adhered to.- Ensure that all supporting documents are kept to date.- Ensure that all processes are kept relevant.
