Our client is seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Engineer to join their team at their Abattoir. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the meat processing industry, demonstrating strong analytical and leadership skills to enhance manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team, exhibiting excellent communication skills.
- Engage in physical tasks as needed and maintain high energy levels.
- Lead process optimization initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Analyze manufacturing processes through data collection and statistical analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory,
coordinate with suppliers, and streamline supply chain dynamics.
- Adapt to change, meet strict deadlines, and handle pressure effectively.
- Exhibit self-motivation, a high-performance mindset, and a strong work ethic.
- Work extended hours as required and be open to working overtime.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in the meat processing industry.
- Education: B Eng in Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree.
- Qualifications: Project Management qualification.
- Project Management Experience: Minimum 3 years.
- Production & Operational Experience: Minimum 3 years.
