We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant with a solid background in tax preparation, advisory, and experience using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will provide tax consulting services to individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with tax laws and optimizing tax strategies. You will also assist clients in managing their financial records through QuickBooks, streamlining accounting processes, and providing financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with current tax regulations.
- Advise clients on tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.






- Reconcile bank statements, financial records, and maintain accurate accounting information using QuickBooks.
- Set up and manage client accounts on QuickBooks, ensuring data integrity and proper categorization.
- Assist with tax audits and represent clients with tax authorities when required.
- Stay updated on new tax laws, regulations, and trends affecting businesses and individuals.
- Provide clients with timely and accurate financial reports and analysis.
- Assist in year-end closing procedures and ensure accurate tax filings.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or EA certification preferred).
- Proven experience as a Tax Consultant or Tax Advisor.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks for managing financial records and reports.
- In-depth understanding of tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.






- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work directly with clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with other accounting software and tools.
- Previous experience working in a public accounting firm.
- Familiarity with tax planning for small businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
