A leading provider of solar energy solutions, committed to delivering sustainable and innovative energy solutions across Africa, whose focus is on retail and commercial sectors is looking for a business development manager to join their team.

As the technical sales representative, you will play a critical role in expanding their market presence and driving sales growth in the solar industry.

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with retail clients,





and providing technical sales expertise.

You will be expected to travel within South Africa and other African countries to meet with clients and partners.

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in solar energy are a plus.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales

Valid drivers license and own vehicle

Proven track record in retail sales and business expansion.

Technical sales experience with a strong understanding of solar energy products and systems.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel within South Africa and other African countries.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the retail and commercial sectors.

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients,





partners, and stakeholders.

Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market trends.

Provide technical sales support, including product presentations and demonstrations.

Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Stay up-to-date with the latest solar energy products and technologies.

Provide technical advice and support to customers on product selection and installation.

Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Explore and establish new markets within Africa, focusing on regions with high solar energy potential.

Develop and maintain a network of distributors and resellers.
