Purpose of Position: Investigate and resolve accounts rejections based on medical schemes clinical protocols in conjunction with various laboratory departments to achieve departmental goals. Compile weekly and monthly reports/stats on abnormal rejections and clinical disputes. Investigate and handle matters relating to POPIA complaints to be compliant with POPIA legislation. Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath. Output performance to be in line with the performance contract. Key Responsibilities:





Compile weekly and monthly reports to provide the necessary management tools. Investigate and resolve accounts rejections based on medical schemes clinical protocols in conjunction with various laboratory departments. Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath. Requirements: Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting: Data Processing (Required), National Diploma: Biomedical Technology
Required Experience: Experience in a medical environment, Knowledge of the Code of conduct of the National Pathology Group (NPG), Knowledge of Meditech system including LIS, B/AR, MM, GL, AP, Knowledge of MS Excel, Knowledge of MS Word, Knowledge of the SAMA Billing Guide.
