Minimum requirements for the role: A BSc degree or a BA Degree in business administration or sales or a related qualification is preferred but not essential.Previous experience having worked in a sales or key accounts role is preferred.Previous experience working within the laboratory or sciences industry in a sales role is preferred but not essential.Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.Previous experience working on Salesforce or a related CRM System is preferred.Must have good communication and negotiation skills,
the ability to build rapport and time management and planning skills.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Managing key accounts and developing new business within the SA market.Attending meetings with new and existing key accounts as well as planning weekly sales activities and attending company meetings to discuss opportunities with other team members.
Attending site meetings for tenders, projects and sales enquiries and attending compulsory tender meetings.Presenting new and existing products to clients.Attending and following up on to daily quotations and new business opportunities.Offering sales advice and resolving queries from customers.Presenting end user seminars (actual and web seminars).Attending exhibitions, forums, conferences and site meetings.Attending training sessions to keep up to date with latest technology and products on the market.Driving and achieving company sales targets.Presenting sales reports to the to the director and national sales manager on KPIs and sales activities.Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
