We are seeking a Project Manager for a permanent role based in Burgersdorp, Eastern Cape (remote) for the first six months, thereafter will be based in Johannesburg (Edenvale). Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Educational background in Engineering with 5+ years' experience managing projects, preferably in animal/aquafeed or at least in food, FMCG, or fine chemicals.Demonstrated experience in managing contracts – design & build,





leading design development processes with external design companies and internal stakeholders.English fluency – verbal and written.Excellent communication skills to local and senior management teams.Proficient in MS Office, MS Project & AutoCAD.Beneficial: demonstrated experience in an operator-related role and PMP certification.The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Responsible for HSE management in projects and meeting relevant HSE KPIs.Development of safe designs, ensuring contractor HSE compliance.Accountable for implementing project management processes and standards (Design, HSE, Quality, Internal controls) in cooperation with the Regional Project Manager and PMO Lead.Maintain good relationships with local business stakeholders and provide updates for Steering Committee and stakeholder meetings.Responsible for successful project delivery, leading discussions with consultants and contractors, re-assigning project team members, defining scope,





developing CAPEX estimates & schedules.Manage escalations from the local project team and timely escalate to the Regional Project Manager.Manage consultancies related to project permitting activities and support business stakeholders in obtaining construction and operating permits.Responsible for land selection and supporting land acquisition, managing a solid search & selection process with local consultancies.Continuously leverage value engineering, life cycle analysis, and innovative solutions/tools to deliver value.Lead contracting strategy definition and participate in procurement processes like pre-qualifications and tenders.Co-decision maker for contract awards.Work closely with procurement and legal stakeholders to meet procurement time schedules.Support continuous improvement of NIP policies by sharing best practices & lessons learned,





and implementing successful methodologies to expedite project execution while reducing CAPEX.Project preparation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, reporting, and handover.Salary: Market related
