A reputable micro insurer (long term) and authorized FSP seeks a dedicated Compliance Officer to support the Chief Compliance Officer.

Minimum Requirements :

Completed FSCA Approved Category I Compliance Officer Certification

Completed RE1

Completed RE5 is advantageous

2 or more years of compliance-specific experience within the long-term insurance sector.

Comprehensive knowledge of FAIS, FICA, Insurance Act, Long-Term Insurance Act, FSRA, and other relevant legislation.

Ability to Interpret and apply legislation effectively while excelling in compliance monitoring, risk management, analytical reporting,





and policy development and implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Identify statutory and management compliance obligations and link them to business processes.

Oversee and maintain compliance risk and regulatory management plans.

Conduct compliance monitoring across various branches.

Develop, enhance, and implement compliance risk management and quality assurance policies.

Maintain and improve the compliance practice framework using a risk-based approach.

Regularly update the compliance manual and provide compliance reports to management.

Provide ad hoc compliance advice and assist with training interventions to improve regulatory knowledge.

Foster a culture of compliance within the organization.

Stay abreast of any compliance and risk-related industry changes.
