Hire Resolve’s client in the engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

- Design of steel structures and finite element analysis
- Completing structural analysis and design of complex structures fabricated from structural steel
- Conducting finite element modelling & analysis
- Structural steel and connection design
- Experience in Civils (Foundation, walls, retaining walls)
- Vibration design of structures; natural frequency and harmonic response analyses
- Design of land-based and marine mining structures for ships

Requirements:

- Structural Engineering degree (B.Eng/BSc. Eng/B.Tech)
- 5-7 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in FEA in Strand7






- Experience in structural steel and connection design
- Advantageous: Exceptional problem-solving skills, multi-disciplinary skills related to engineering, highly organised and self-motivated, VBA & API integration with Strand7
