Reference: FRD000241-KB-1Client based in JHB north seeks the services of Field Sales Representative.
Experience:1. Sales or Business Development Experience: Ideally, the candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in field sales, business development, or a related role. Experience inhigh-paced environments is highly beneficial.2. Customer Engagement: Experience interacting directly with customers, identifying their needs, and pitching solutions effectively.3. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with mobile apps, digital platforms, and CRM tools will be advantageous, as the role involves guiding potential Uber drivers through theonboarding process and leveraging Uber’s technology.Skills:1. Excellent Communication Skills:





The candidate must be capable of conducting info sessions and outbound calls to explain Uber’s value proposition clearly and persuasively.2. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to manage partnerships and maintain long-term relationships with drivers, prospective drivers, and third-party partners.3. Problem-Solving: The candidate should be proactive in identifying issues in the field and finding practical solutions, especially around scaling driver acquisition processesacross multiple cities.4. Project Management: The ability to multitask and manage multiple drivers at different stages of the onboarding journey, while collaborating with both local and central teams.Soft Skills: goals, and achieve results without needing constant supervision.2. Adaptability: The role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle sudden changes.3. Action-Oriented: Ability to take initiative and act decisively to meet supply goals,





especially in rapidly expanding markets.English Language Requirement:● Minimum: Upper-Intermediate (B2 level), since the role involves professional communication, outbound calls, and regular reporting in English. Candidates should be comfortable conducting presentations and communicating efficiently across diverse teams.● Preferred: Advanced (C1 level), especially for handling complex conversations with prospective drivers and internal teams.
