Job Description Are you a detail-oriented payroll expert with a passion for precision and a flair for HR administration? We're looking for a dedicated HR and Payroll Administrator to join our client,s dynamic team, where you'll manage everything from payroll processing to employee support.

Responsibilities

- Oversee payroll processing and manage benefits administration with accuracy and care.







- Keep employee records up-to-date, ensuring all documentation is meticulously prepared, issued, and filed.

- Ensure HR compliance, assist in audits, and help us stay ahead of industry regulations.

- Manage leave tracking and maintain an organized HR calendar to support workforce planning.

- Own the recruitment journey—from onboarding new hires to ensuring smooth exits for departing employees.

- Play a key role in supporting performance management, employee wellness, and handling first-level HR queries related to
remuneration.

- Be the go-to person for HR administrative tasks and provide essential support to the HR department.

Payroll-Specific Responsibilities

- Process payroll for wage and salaried staff, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

- Calculate bonuses, allowances, and prepare detailed payroll summaries.

- Prepare monthly payroll reports, ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations.

- Handle staff queries about payroll,





resolving issues with professionalism and care.

- Complete monthly SITE, PAYE, medical aid, and union returns.

- Submit EMP501 calculations and manage year-end reconciliation processes.

RequirementsQualifications & Experience

- Matric is essential.

- Further studies in HR are a strong advantage.

- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the metal industry.

- Knowledge of the MEIBC Main Agreement and HR-related legislation.

- Proficiency in SAGE 300 Payroll System is preferred.

- Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel are a must.
