**Requirements**:
- Grade 12
- GIS/CAD/Draughting Certificate would be advantageous
- 2 years’ relevant experience within a GIS/CAD environment.
- Knowledge and research of cadastral information and title deeds.
- Basic knowledge of land use and planning processes and
Practice.
- Basic report writing and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy and advanced CAD/GIS skills.
- Valid Code B Driver’s Licence.
- Must be prepared to enter high risk areas and should be capable of
conducting field work and have the ability to use drawing programs
Key Performance Areas
- Supervises and undertakes reasonably complex drafting
Property
- Communicating results of research and investigations to both
internal and external clients
- Attending to noting and safekeeping of records, both electronic
and hard copy, with regard to the services and ongoing work of the
Department
- Mentoring and providing guidance to Technical Assistants on
drafting related activities
- Providing general transport assistance for the region including
conveyancing, leasing and admin functions
- Implementing Section or Departmental communication strategy
