Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Finance Specialist (CO) for an onsite position in Bellville, Cape Town.
As a team member of the SGT SAP CoE team, you will:
- Deliver system design, configuration, and testing services related to SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting (CO).
- Provide expertise in supporting business-as-usual system changes, including both standard and bespoke solutions using the SAP S/4HANA Controlling solution and SAP Fiori applications.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the latest SAP development tools, offering expert technical advice to business analysts and stakeholders in search of SAP system solutions.
Technical Requirements
Deep technical understanding of the integration of the Controlling module with:
- Finance (FI)
- Procurement (MM)
- Sales & Distribution (SD)
- Master Data Governance (MDG)
- Analysis for Office (A4O) reporting
- Fiori applications
- Integration tools: iDocs, Web Services, etc.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting (CO) application design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Expertise in CO customizing and solution implementation, focusing on:
- Cost Centre & Profit Centre accounting
- Allocation & assessment (including Universal Allocations)
- Profitability analysis
- Analysis for Office (A4O) reporting
- Business-as-usual (BAU) support experience.
- Ability to interact with clients at all levels to understand business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
- Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and solving complex business problems.
- Strategic alignment with senior management's goals and the ability to interact with them on alternate approaches.
- Decision-making autonomy with independence in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Experience in end-user training.
Educational and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Commerce.
- SAP FI/CO and/or S/4HANA certification.
- Extensive knowledge of the S/4HANA Management Accounting (CO) solution.
- Functional knowledge of MM and SD.
- Knowledge of Master Data Governance is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret and interrogate written requirements.
- Over 6 years of experience as an SAP CO Consultant with at least one end-to-end implementation project and support experience.
- S/4HANA CO configuration experience.
- Strong Record to Report (RTR) experience.
- Experience with Cost Centre/Profit Centre Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Overhead Assessments, and Settlements.
- Experience with A4O Analytics.
- Extensive experience with FI/CO integration with other process modules, including SD and MM.
