Our client based in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Sales Represenative / Customer Service Representative to join their team.

The ideal candidate should be energetic and motivated and ready to expand their sales career in a dynamic environment. They are required to identify and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships to generate future and repeat sales and should excel in selling company products by matching clients' needs with what the company has to offer.

- Identifying business opportunities with current and prospective customers.
- Analysing opportunities by researching the industry and market trends.
- Maintaining relationships with larger clients by providing information, support and guidance.






- Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals.
- Customer Retention Management. Maintain and grow a strong client base.
- Planning and executing solutions for delivery to key clients.
- Give inputs into the conceptualisation and development of products for effective delivery to clients.
- Maintain detailed records and proper documentation of all aspects of sale's activities.
- Preparing reports i.e. prospect lists, pipelines, forecasts, territory management plan, sales reports etc. by collecting sales information and statistics.
- Sell the minimum stipulated products per month that the company offers.
- Respond to new and current client base regarding complaints and service enquiries.
- All customer/client queries are followed up and resolved in the shortest possible timeframe within policy framework
- A professional attitude is displayed when responding to a customer's needs and representative needs.
- Methods for improving customer services are proposed,





developed and continuously updated.
- Internal and external customers are constantly updated as to the progress of their queries.
- Be a “brand ambassador” that represents the company's brand and values.
- Take participation in trade shows, exhibitions, networking with local associations to promote the product.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to prepare common strategies.
- Monitor sales numbers and marketing metrics.
- Calculate business trends, like monthly sales rates.
- Analyse market trends
- Submit required, daily, weekly and monthly reports.

- Matric or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail.






- Strong negotiating and selling skills.
- Superior customer service skills – you will spend a good deal of time directly interacting with clients and addressing their needs.
- Computer literate.
- Sales software experience.
