Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Security Specialist for an onsite position in Bellville, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive security support across various SAP environments, ensuring adherence to governance, seamless service delivery, and exceptional client support. This is an onsite role.
- SAP Landscape Security: Provide security support within Sanlam's SAP landscape, including S/4H Finance, Solution Manager, GRC, ECC HR, BTP, SuccessFactors, HANA Databases, etc.
- User/Role Remediation: Assist with user/role remediation activities based on Segregation of Duties (SoD) findings across various SAP systems.
- Audit Support:
Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing required information and documentation.
- User License Audits: Assist with user license audits.
- Project and BAU Support: Manage project initiatives and Business as Usual (BAU) support as required.
- Governance and Relationship Management: Report to the Head of SAP Centre of Expertise (CoE) within client's Group Technology (SGT) and maintain relationships to support SLA's and OLA's.
- Incident Management: Manage SAP Security JIRA requests, incident management, and prompt resolution of security and authorization issues.
- Operational and Technical Support: Provide support to SAP developer, functional, and Basis teams, and facilitate testing for security roles during change management approval processes.
- Authorization Requirements: Collaborate with process and business owners to define authorization requirements for end users.
- Compliance: Ensure audit compliance in user access and Change Management processes and implement internal controls to mitigate business risks.
- SoD Remediation:
Work closely with the GRC CoE for SoD remediation activities.
- Access Reviews: Coordinate and manage regular reviews of user access, including privileged user logs and critical roles.
- Control Reviews: Perform regular Manual Control (MCP) reviews.
- SAP OSS Calls: Log and manage SAP OSS calls for complex security issues and implement recommended resolutions.
- Governance Alignment: Ensure alignment with SAP CoE governance procedures and principles.
- System Maintenance: Assist with security requirements during SAP system refreshes and upgrades.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the SME supporting end-to-end SAP Security lifecycle processing from design to support.
- Educational Background: Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Certifications:
SAP Authorizations/GRC certification is advantageous.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge and experience with SAP Authorization Concepts, User and Role administration, S/4 HANA, HANADB, Fiori, BW Analysis Authorizations, and SAP License Administration.
- Problem-Solving: Experience troubleshooting complex security issues related to S/4 HANA, Fiori Catalogs and Groups, Business Objects Analysis Authorizations, and Solution Manager ChaRM.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Control and Compliance requirements, Security Audit Cycles, SAP GRC Access Controls, Emergency Access Management, and Risk Analysis Remediation.
- Business Processes: In-depth understanding of business processes and system Change Management procedures.
- SAP Modules: Knowledge of SAP Modules FI, CO, MM, IM, SD, PM, MDG,
and key business processes such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Report to Close, and related workflow approval functionality.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of SAP Authorizations experience with involvement in at least 2 full life cycle implementations. Cloud experience is beneficial.
- Specializations: Experience with HANADB Privileges, S/4H security/authorizations, and SAP BW Analysis Authorizations is advantageous.
