They are currently seeking an experienced FF&E; Specialist with a strong proficiency in Revit to join their dynamic team.
Job Summary:
The FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) Specialist will play a crucial role in our interior design projects, focusing on the selection, specification, and documentation of FF&E; elements. This position requires a keen eye for design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to create detailed Revit models to effectively communicate design concepts and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design teams to understand project requirements and develop FF&E; solutions that align with the overall design vision.
- Conduct research to identify suitable furniture, fixtures, and equipment options, considering functionality, aesthetics, and budget constraints.
- Create detailed Revit models and 2D/3D renderings to visualize FF&E; selections within the overall design context.
- Prepare and maintain FF&E; specifications, schedules, and procurement documents.
- Coordinate with vendors,
manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of selected items.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations, including FF&E; boards and material samples.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and materials to provide innovative solutions.
- Oversee installation processes and ensure that all FF&E; is placed according to design specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an FF&E; Specialist or in a similar role within the interior design industry.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, including creating and modifying models, drafting, and documentation.
- Excellent knowledge of furniture, fixtures,
and equipment specifications and sourcing.
- Strong visual and spatial skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other design software (Revit)
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials
