Job & Company Descriptions:
An entertainment company is looking for an Accountant to join its finance team.
As an Accountant you will responsible for the following:
- Support operations management in reducing costs and enhancing profits by thoroughly analyzing and reporting financial data, particularly any budget discrepancies.
- Maintain precise records of company accounts in strict accordance with legal and departmental requirements.
- Effectively coordinate audits and promptly implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure the smooth and accurate processing of creditor payments.
- Accurately record capital expenditures and assets in the fixed asset register.
- Meet the accounting needs of internal customers efficiently and on time.
- Foster a skilled and motivated accounting team through confident and compassionate leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant company and gambling board accounting policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in tax and accounting regulations.
- Submit accurate statutory returns by their deadlines.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Bcom in Finance
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
