Are you a skilled Property Accountant looking for a new and exciting opportunity?
Job Description:
As part of this role, you'll handle the preparation and timely submission of monthly VAT returns, along with reconciling VAT clearing accounts and following up on outstanding refunds. You'll also be responsible for processing tenant deposit refunds, calculating commission based on rent rolls, and ensuring debtor accounts are regularly reconciled. Key responsibilities include preparing financial packs, journals, and year-end reports for external auditors, managing audit queries, and handling income tax submissions. Additionally, you will review ledgers for accruals,
provide financial support to property managers, ensure internal control compliance, and prepare and review financial statements to accurately reflect the financial status of properties under management.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the property industry
- Proficiency in MDA software
