The Senior Feature Analyst (SFA) is accountable for guiding the clarification of the business requirements, through in-work collaboration with the business stakeholders, and working within the agile team to ensure these are delivered effectively end-to-end. The SFA will provide a more comprehensive view of the features within an epic,
the functionality required to implement it, and the benefits it delivers to business. SFA's have a broader end-to-end understanding of the epic / project, can work across multiple agile teams and product owners, and really own the process from start to finish, while getting involved at a technical level of implementations.
The role of the IM Business Analyst is to:
Understand business user requirements
Assist the users in analysing and documenting the business processes and requirements
Translate the business requirements into specifications for implementation
He/she will also be involved with the resolution of business issues and will ensure that business rules are defined and adhered to when making changes to existing IM solutions or any new IM solutions.
Experience using data warehouse or analytical tools for business purposes.
Proficiency in BI tools (e.g. Power BI), SQL, and data analysis techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presenting complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
Knowledge of key data warehousing processes
