Dynamic, fast paced, young and very successful Medical Aid Collections Bureau is seeking a detail-oriented and outgoing Medical Aid Collections Agent to join their efficient team.
The Company is based in the heart of Umhlanga, where you will work alongside 18 busy, friendly Claims Clerks. The role entails collection of multiple Doctor's invoices from Medical Aids nationwide, timeously and efficiently You must have a strong understanding of PMB's, IMCD10 Codes, Tariff Codes and Billing Rules set out by SAMA in order to be considered
Duties include
Assessing and reconciling all outstanding claims to ensure the balances are accurately represented on the system.
- Attending to claim rejections to resolve and attempting to maximise payment received from medical schemes.
- Retrieving, reconciling and monitoring all remittance advices
- Following-up on all outstanding claims.
- Identifying any incorrect billing to fix and resubmit claims accordingly.
- Reducing the total outstanding balance in the Age Analysis by focusing on collections and reconciliations.
- Following up on short payments.
- Following up on claims regularly, with valid updates at each point of query.
- Keeping constant communication open with the Medical Aids and the Doctors.
