Purpose Of The Job:
Our Client is looking for an experienced Passenger Vehicle Parts Field Representative, to join their Team. Visiting dealers in assigned region, to guide dealers on Spare Parts and Accessories sales & business with his/her assigned sales target. To implement Parts Operation Standards at dealerships / dealers. Duties:
Achieve Sales Target
- Monitor the dealer sales progress and take active actions to achieve the sales targets
Dealer Visits
- Identify high-priority dealers by analyzing them using a stratified dealer control scheme,
visit these high-priority dealers; and show them methods to be used to achieve the sales target sustainably
- Implement and maintain Parts operations standards throughout Dealer network
Dealer Evaluation
- Use the balance score card, dealer summary report or dealer visit check list to evaluate the dealer activities
- Guide Dealers to promote genuine parts and accessories
Sales Channel Development
- Visit the unauthorized workshops to generate the new wholesale networks to sell more
Promote Standard Inventory
- Decide standard inventory items and stock quantity; guide dealers on how to replenish the stock
- Guide on how to display the Display Rack
Promotional Activities
- Make plans for promotional activities, implement them and analyze the result to review the next plan
Guide Administrative Duties
- Guide dealers how to manage the administrative duties such as ordering and inventory control
Market Research
- Research competitors’ pricing and give feedback reports to distributors
General Operation as Territory Coordinator
- Handle parts inquiries from dealers such as part numbers and delivery date with enough knowledge of spare parts & accessories
Payment Check
- Check parts payment of parts for each dealer and remind dealers if there is any delay
Accessories development
- Formulate accessories for website listing
- Formulate accessories catalogues and bulletins
- Develop Accessories packs for Special Edition introduction and requirements
- Continuous improvement of Accessories penetration and offtake through Dealer channel
Other
- Handle any issues between dealers and distributors in your region
- Ensure that the relevant parts of marketing material are displayed in all dealerships
Success Factors & Key Challenges
- Monitor skill levels and propose necessary training
- Gathering of information to feed and update the aftersales department
- Guide dealers with regards to technical, warranty and service issues
- Monitor CSI results vs target and prepare action plans if needed
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant technical qualifications with experience in parts and accessories
- High level of computer literacy
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in same or similar role as Parts Field Representative in the Motor Industry
- Autonomous functioning and self-reliance in maintaining own workflow, priorities and meeting business requirements and deadlines
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to establish new systems,
processes and procedures
- Extensive local travel will be required
- Willingness to work overtime may be required
- From time to time may be expected to fly with 24 hours’ notice
