Stable well established chemical manufacturing company, part of JSE listed group, requires seasoned Product Quality and Technical Manager to be responsible for overseeing the operations of the dry plant, ensuring the efficient and safe processing of materials.
This role includes managing staff, monitoring production processes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental regulations and controls.
This position is based in an industrial factory with automated machinery.
This position will suit candidate who is medically fit and mobile
The ideal candidate will be someone who has lots of energy to perform this role, someone with Diploma/Degree in Chemical engineering,
with proven experience in leading a team in a chemical dry plant.
The successful candidate MUST have leadership ability and proven track record in managing a team on the plant floor in the chemical/paint manufacturing industry
The requirements and qualifications for this position include:
Chemical Degree or equivalent.(Chemical Degree will be highly advantageous)
Proven experience in a similar role within a chemical plant with a thorough understanding of technical plant operations and processes.
Able and willing to work on alternative Saturdays
Strong leadership and team management abilities - non-negotiable
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in using plant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
