Phakisa Holding are looking for Lab Analyst in Jet Park Negotiable
Job Summary:
- We are seeking two dedicated Lab Analysts to join our team for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills and experience in laboratory environments. They will conduct various analyses and support our lab operations through meticulous data recording and product stability testing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of analytical techniques, including but not limited to:
- Titrations
- pH measurements
- Density assessments
- Viscosity measurements
- Mass loss evaluations
- Execute ad hoc tasks as needed, such as:
- Recording and maintaining accurate data
- Labelling samples and reagents
- Setting up products for stability testing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with laboratory protocols.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any analytical issues that may arise.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous laboratory experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques and laboratory equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in data entry and basic statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication skills.
Package & Remuneration
- lab analysts for 6 months, with an option to extend contracts
