A vacancy exists within PSG for a Junior Project Manager to manage projects through to completion in accordance with the KCSL METIS methodology and best practice. This represents an exciting challenge for a candidate with the right determination and skills to further their career with KCSL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage & document projects in accordance with the METIS methodology and Project Manager Charter
- Provide leadership and direction to KCSL and customer staff.
- Manage project teams.
- Ensure good communications with KCSL and customer project teams.
- To be aware of the contractual obligations of implementations and ensure these are met.
- Deliver projects within budget and on time.
- Account for resource used.
- Ensure billing is reconciled and produced on time.
- Continually work to improve the best practice within the department.
- Ensure sign-off of Gates are adhered to
Key Requirements:
- A track record of delivering successful ERP implementations (non-negotiable)
- An appreciation or qualification in Prince 2 methodology or similar.
- The ability to demonstrate a logical approach to planning.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
- Willingness to embrace best practice and procedures.
- The ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner is required.
- A background working with K8 software (or similar), services or customers is desirable
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Collaboration ability and skills
- Strong emphasis on Change Management throughout the implementation
- Willingness to stay informed and updated on new software releases and key enhancements
- Attend training as and when required on K8 product and complete assessments where relevant
