Audit and Tax Compliance Officer

Duties & Responsibilities

- Ensure tax compliance in all African subsidiary countries (9) through:
- Meeting deadlines for all statutory taxes
- PAYE
- Social taxes
- VAT
- WHT
- Provisional tax
- Annual CIT

- Be knowledgeable of tax laws and requirements in all countries in conjunction with local tax advisors
- Work with local tax advisors to resolve any tax audits and queries from local tax authorities.
- Prepare the annual audit packs for all countries in conjunction with the Financial Manager and CFO.
- Work with accounts team to ensure compliance in all accounting maters to ensure that there will not be any tax or audit issues.






- Submit to the auditors and resolve all audit queries to bring audits to conclusion and sign off by directors.

Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric + relevant Finance qualification
- Completed part or all of articles
- 1 - 2 Years commercial experience is essential
- MS Office + Pastel Accounting
