National manufacturing company invites applications from Business Development Manager (B.D.M.'s )
Location: East Rand
Duties & Responsibilities
Required Skills
- New Business Development: 3 to 4 years
- Sales Management: 2 to 3 years
- Business Development within Customer Base: 3 to 4 years
- Negotiation / Contract / Pricing / SLA's: 2 to 3 year
Familiar with the manufacturing process for the
- relevant products, from design to delivery;
- key people involved from factory floor to leadership;
- technology involved;
- constraints and the opportunities.
- Hands-on, experiential level
- Master the multiple interfaces between product, customer need and market experience and be recognized as an expert.
Knowledge of competitors
Negotiate sales contracts
Develop relationships at all levels
Own the fulfilment promise of each contract and continuously adapt contract / relationships to emerging circumstances
Good understanding of costings / margin analyses as per the group.
Actively develop & source new business opportunities in chosen market segments.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
B.Com ( Sales or Sales and Marketing Degree )
or relevant NQF7 qualification
Experience
3-5 years sales management / business development skills in a manufacturing industry
Excellent computer literacy use for Analytical Skills / Reporting Sklls
Own car / Drivers' license
Clear criminal record
Living in and around East Rand
Fluent English (as a business language)
Package & Remuneration
R35,000-R45,000 CTC depending on education and experience
