An exciting opportunity for an Accountant with 3-5 years of experience, working fully remote for a USA Company working from 12pm to 8pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling General Ledger areas (payroll accounting including capitalized labour, stock compensation, etc.
- Tracking Payments: Accountants monitor payments to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Budget Forecasts: They prepare budget forecasts to help organizations plan their financial activities.
- Tax Processing: Accountants handle tax payments and returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Financial Statements: They publish accurate financial statements on time.
- Closings: Accountants manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconciliation:
They reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Bank Payments: Ensuring timely bank payments is part of their role.
- Tax Returns: Accountants compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Financial Health Reporting: They report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
- Audit and Confidentiality: Accountants audit financial transactions, maintain data confidentiality, and perform database backups when necessary
Qualifications:
- BComm Degree
- 3 - 5 years' experience as an Accountant
- Netsuite experience
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
