Full job description
Position Summary
Recruiter primarily makes outbound calls to potential candidates, sources candidates, and attends job fairs. Recruiters are problem solvers with good negotiation skills who are self-driven and motivated to meet individual and team goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create Requisition on DayForce for new openings
- Ensures all jobs are posted in compliance with company guidelines
- Sources for candidates using various job boards and social networking platforms
- Participates in community engagement activities to attract candidates
- Prescreen candidates
- Screens candidates before conducting 1st interview
- If Candidate has employment history with ACT, Rehire Policy is reviewed.
- Conducts 1st Interviews
- Reviews attendance Policy- send any day off request to operations for approval via email, prints acceptance of request and provides to RA to be filed with new hire paperwork
- Conducts Reference Checks
- Communicates with appropriate Hiring Manger/Trainer regarding new classes
- Updates Recruiting Dashboard
- Conducts post offering screenings, ensures that all new candidates complete Drug & Alcohol test (if applicable) and Background screenings, insures compliance
- Participates in daily meeting to provide report of progress
- Maintains spreadsheet with class information, candidates hired and/rejected candidates
Minimum Qualifications
Previous experience in recruiting and interviews is a must
Must be able to successfully pass criminal background check
Data entry and basic computer skills
Education: High School diploma
Job Type: Full-time
