Requirements
- A relevant B Degree in Civil/Built Environment or Project
Management
- Preference will be given to candidates who are
professionally registered
- Minimum Five (5) years’ relevant post qualification
experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the Built Environment and
Project Management functions
- A Code B (08) driver’s license
Key Performance Areas
- Coordinating capital and OPEX programmes and projects
within Branch Infrastructure & Planning, Facilities
Management Branch , by providing financial,
administrative, logistic and project management support
within the MFMA environment
- Monitoring expenditure trends on all OPEX and capital
projects and ensuring adequate budget provision for the
stages one(1) to six(6) of different projects
- Performing contract management functions in line with the
relevant City guidelines and directives
- Coordinate and manage multi-dimensional project
components, including budget control, to achieve tight
delivery timeframes on project all project stages
- Providing clear tender specifications in conjunctions with
Tenders and contracts unit
- Maintaining records of agreements/approvals in respect of
transversal tender use applications
- Managing subordinate staff
- Ensuring compliance all City policies and procedures.
- Co-ordinate stakeholder engagement
