OPERATIONS & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATE (Systems and Project Management focus) - Claremont, Cape Town (Hybrid)Competitive Package on Offer! Our Client, a Global Investment firm is currently expanding their Operations team and in search of a seasoned Operations Associate who has solid project management experience.In this role, you will partner with various business units to implement scalable solutions, drive operational efficiency, and manage strategic operations and systems projects that support the businesses goals.The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to oversee projects from start to finish, have the ability to optimize resources, to streamline workflows,
and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.You possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks with precision are essential for success in this position.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Project ManagementLead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Develop project plans, define project goals, set timelines, and allocate resources effectively.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.The types of projects range from large to small and could typically be operational process improvement in cross-functional areas, regulatory assessments, and implementation, due diligence for outsourced services, sustainability initiatives, and implementation of IT systems,
among others.Operational SupportSupport day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient processes across the business.Collaborate with departments to document workflows, standard operating procedures, and best practices.Work closely with various departments, to ensure alignment and integration of operations.Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process optimization, recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency, and work with cross-functional teams to implement.Utilize data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Data Management and ReportingCollect, analyse, and interpret data to provide insights and support decision-making.Maintain accurate records of operational activities,
ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.Prepare regular reports and presentations for various stakeholders.Quality Assurance and ComplianceEnsure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:Relevant B.Com and / or BSc or related degreeProject management or related certification would be advantageous.3-5 years of experience in operations and/or systems related project management roles and preferably gained within a fast-paced financial services/investment/advisory/consulting related field Strong understanding of operations management, process/systems improvement, and project management principles.Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload,
