Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the timely and consistent preparation of high-quality dishes.
- Oversee and guide junior kitchen staff, providing training, support, and feedback to help them develop their skills.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to create new menu items and specials.
- Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and monitor ingredient quality to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Ensure the smooth operation of your section during service, maintaining high standards under pressure.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen, preferably in fine dining or high-end restaurants.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of modern cooking techniques.
- Experience managing a kitchen section and leading a small team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Passion for delivering outstanding food and creating memorable dining experiences.
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
