Our client, a leading manufacturer of automation products in the electrical space, is looking for a highly talented Sales Manager as well as Sales Engineer to join their JHB Team.
Reporting to
Head of Sales.
Job Specification
- Develop and deliver demanding customer solutions and implement strong, effective ideas centered on market needs.
- Ensure the implementation of sales strategies and targets are achieved in the region.
- You will be accountable for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with existing and potential clients.
- Set Sales Budgets and implement strategies to ensure targets are met.
- Set Sales targets for the Sales team and ensure they are reached. (Sales manager)
- Develop partnerships with system integrators, consulting engineers, project houses and panel builders.
- Be able to promote the latest innovation and technologies relevant to the defined industries.
- Generate business (market share, volume, and profit) from existing and new customers.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs as well as enhancing customer understanding of full product and service offering.
- Cross-sell and solution finding according to customer needs.
- Develop channel partners, system integrators, EPC and OEM sales.
- Promote the brand and influence specification at End Users.
- Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensure cross-collaboration.
Qualifications and skills required
- An appropriate and relevant electrical/instrumentation of automation qualification.
- Must have 3 years relevant sales experience.
- Must have in depth knowledge of the defined industry sectors.
- Must be able to conduct technical presentations on all relevant products.
- Will be required to prepare proposals and reports.
- Proven ability to conduct product and solution presentations
- Have established networks within the respective industries and have a proven track record with sales.
