As a Specialist in Group Investment Asset Reporting, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting to all stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and reporting standards. The company offers a range of financial products and services, including insurance, investment, savings, and wellness programs, designed to help individuals and businesses achieve financial stability and long-term goals. Duties:Validate and review financial investment asset reporting data for accuracy and completeness.Investigate and resolve queries with relevant business areas.Organize, analyze, and maintain data for reporting,
adhering to Service Level Agreements and Group deadlines.Ensure accurate accounting for new financial instruments and correct classification for reporting.Update and maintain accounting systems, including JDE and other reporting platforms.Prepare reconciliations, working papers, and valuation techniques in line with IFRS7 and IFRS10 standards.Provide credit ratings on the S&P; national scale and assist with tax-related administrative functions.Engage with internal and external auditors during reporting periods.Perform functional and user acceptance testing on systems when required.Support the MMI Group Reporting Team with asset pack reviews, client liaison, and process documentation Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:Matric (Grade 12)BCom AccountingBCom Honours / CTACA(SA) Experience:Completed SAICA ArticlesMinimum of 5 years of experience in financial services,
preferably in Asset Management and Life InsuranceStrong understanding of financial instruments and IFRS (IFRS7 and IFRS10)Familiarity with asset management administration systemsIn-depth knowledge of general accounting practices for investment assets/financial instruments Skills & Competencies:Strong business acumen and stakeholder commitmentResults-driven with the ability to lead change and innovationTeam collaboration and talent growthEffective communication and influenceEmphasis on diversity and inclusiveness If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
