Description: To safeguard the organisation and the interests of stakeholders by guiding, facilitating and assisting the company and the Audit and Risk Committee to manage and monitor compliance to frameworks, policies, processes, procedures and identifying and managing risks related to/impacting on achievement of objectives and its mandate. This includes: The implementation of an effective risk management system and create a risk and compliance culture by identifying weaknesses in systems and processes and embed compliance principles and practices into existing systems, services, and processes.
Ensuring that the organisation is conducting its business in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations that pertains to the company as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal policies and standards by performing compliance reviews at regular intervals, coordinate audits and monitor the implementation of corrective action plans. Managing and maintaining the organisations policy system, ensuring the review, updating and compilation of new policies. Upholding ethical integrity, ensuring integrity of business performance and information management processes, fraud prevention, tracking questionable expenditures and ethical conduct monitoring Experience and Qualification: B Degree or equivalent (NQF level 7) in relevant field, e.g., Business management, Auditing and Risk management or related field Post-Graduate Degree or equivalent (NQF level 8) in relevant field, e.g., Business management, Auditing and Risk management or related field 5 years Enterprise Risk and Compliance experience Registration with SAICA (South African Institute of Charted Accountants as CA (SA) (Chartered Accountant)
Registration with IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors of South Africa) A recognised professional body in the relevant field, e.g., Registration with IRMSA (Institute of Risk Management South Africa) Registration with CISA (Compliance Institute of South Africa)
