Introduction

Phakisa Holdings is currently seeking Quality Controllers in the Jet Park area.

- Ensure compliance and quality control within the manufacturing and packaging manufacturing facility by ensuring the quality, safety and compliance of all items manufactured in the facility, as well as adherence to Good Laboratory Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Document Practices and company guidelines.
- IPQC is an on-line inspection of products as available during production and measurement tests communicating required adjustments to production team leads and line manager monitoring the production process, reduces the risk of substandard quality and works to ensure that all other aspects of contractual obligations are met.







Duties & Responsibilities
- Visual inspection of products as available during production.
- Final Inspection of product as per outlined procedure.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work by inputting data into quality records.
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Conducts GMP walkabouts and assists in internal self-inspections audits
- Establish and maintain the retention sample rooms
- Ensures all batch documents are scanned post audit review and release and stored onto the SharePoint
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Assists in investigations relating to quality incidents in manufacturing.






- IPQC is responsible for the on-line inspection of intermediates products and finished product as available during production to confirm product compliance.
- Monitoring the production process to reduce the risk of substandard quality.
- Raises Quality Incident cards upon occurrences of any incidents that take place on the line.
- Ensures that the equipment and testing tools are within calibration and verifications are performed by Production.
- IPQC will perform all the necessary inspection of products as per manufacturing procedures and documents:
- Review/Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production team lead.






- Documents inspection of Manufacturing and packaging Documents used during manufacturing, input on schedule results of these documents by completing reports and logs.
- To adhere to cGMP requirements. Maintains and ensures the up keep of the IPQC stations and its tidiness.
- Timely reporting of any abnormal findings of the quality review study to the departmental head for investigation and further action.
- Support quality in production in performing and recording on-line tests on the manufacturing and packaging documents at the required intervals.
- Checking the quality of packed product as per procedure at the required intervals.
- Performing AQL when necessary on packed finished goods and recording results on required documentation.
- Analysing Information, Reporting Results, Good Documentation Skills,





facility manufacturing processes and procedures in line with global RB data integrity policy and document control policy.
- IPQC will be responsible for issuing of batch manufacturing documents and any adhoc activities.
- Returns all unused batch manufacturing documents for filing.
- Where required will be involved in or perform required investigations.
- IPQC will be responsible for training and coaching on the production lines.

Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 certificate and 4 years of experience
- OR Scientific qualification (degree or diploma) and 1 to 2 years of experience in relevant industry
- Reading and interpretation of technical material.
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft excel
- Self-Motivated,
- High level of Integrity and Ethics,

Package & Remuneration

R79.00 Per Hour.
