External Sales Representative (Solar / Renewable Energy) - Rosebank (JHB)
Our client operating in the Solar / Renewable Energy space is currently looking to add an External Sales Representative (Solar / Renewable Energy) to their Rosebank (JHB) team.
2 Years of sales experience, preferably in the solar energy industry or a related technical field secures; viz. B2B or B2C sales.

- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the solar energy industry or a related technical field.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is essential.
- A strong knowledge or interest in solar energy systems and services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Engage with customers in our store and beyond, showcasing the benefits of our solar products.
- Identify and understand customer needs, providing tailored solar solutions that maximize savings and efficiency.
- Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other innovative strategies.
- Manage inbound sales calls and proactively contact potential customers using various communication channels (Email, WhatsApp, Phone, etc.).
- Meet with potential customers to assess their solar needs and perform site visits as necessary.
- Present, promote, and sell our solar offerings, articulating the value and benefits of the company's solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotes.
- Manage and track the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities progress through the sales process.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as installation and engineering to meet customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide management with insights on customer needs, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products and services.
- Participate in the ongoing improvement of sales processes.
