Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in systems security or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) is a plus.
- Experience in a relevant environment is preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to support security initiatives and incident response activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Assessment and Vulnerability Management: Conduct comprehensive assessments and vulnerability scans, actively identifying risks and collaborating with IT teams to fortify security measures.
- Incident Response and Management: Develop and refine incident response plans, expertly managing security incidents and driving post-incident reviews to enhance security processes.
- Security Policy Development and Compliance: Shape and enforce robust security policies while ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards, fostering a culture of security awareness.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Proactively monitor security alerts and logs, generating insightful reports to keep management and stakeholders informed of security posture.
- User Education and Training:
Design engaging security training programs to empower staff with essential knowledge and best practices in information security.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to bolster the security framework, participating in audits and assessments to continuously improve defenses.
